Childcare Trainee (Mount Druitt)

A small centre in Mount Druitt who are looking to employ an individual for a traineeship to obtain a certificate III in children's services. This Position will be for a school leaver who has completed their schooling in 2023 or 2024, or Individuals who did not complete year 11 or 12 and are over the age of 18 or about to turn 18. The position is for individuals who DO NOT hold a qualification in early childhood, if this is you and have a passion for early childhood we invite you to apply.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you'll assist and support children as they explore and engage in a child-centre play-based curriculum and work alongside other educators to assess and implement secure and secure environments.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Current Working with Children Check
- A passion for working with children
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training or willing to obtain during employment
- Experiences working with children under school age desirable but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for children's care and education

**Duties and skills include but not limited to**:

- A positive can-do attitude demonstrating initiative and responding to the needs of the children at all times.
- Excellent communication skills within a team and with the children and families.
- Ability to provide and maintain a supportive environment for children and parents as well as team members
