As a car lover, you go beyond simply loving to drive
- you are curious about how things work and passionate to learn the ropes. You view the automotive trade as both a science and a craft. As an apprentice, you spend each day learning different skill sets that will help expand your knowledge and assist in growing your career.
**Duties**:
- Minor servicing of light vehicles
- Assisting and observing mechanics where necessary
- Cleaning and tidying of work areas
- Operating electrical test equipment
- Follow protected working practices in an automotive environment
- Use and maintain tools and equipment specific to light vehicle automotive
- Identify automotive electrical systems & components
**About you**:
- Outstanding team worker
- Great communication
- Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and follow instruction
- Attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and consistent
- A passion for the automotive industry
- Drivers license or close to obtaining
**Non-essential skills**: Certificate II Automotive will be highly regarded or having previous experience in the automotive industry.
