As a car lover, you go beyond simply loving to drive
- you are curious about how things work and passionate to learn the ropes. You view the automotive trade as both a science and a craft. As an apprentice, you spend each day learning different skill sets that will help expand your knowledge and assist in growing your career.
Duties:
Minor servicing of light vehicles
Assisting and observing mechanics where necessary
Cleaning and tidying of work areas
Operating electrical test equipment
Follow protected working practices in an automotive environment
Use and maintain tools and equipment specific to light vehicle automotive
Identify automotive electrical systems & components
About you:
Outstanding team worker
Outstanding communication
Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and follow instruction
Attention to detail
Punctual, reliable, and consistent
A passion for the automotive industry
Drivers license or close to obtaining
Non-essential skills:
Certificate II Automotive will be highly regarded or having previous experience in the automotive industry.
