- TL $90,879
- $128,887 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher – Interior Decoration and Design to deliver engaging, high‑quality training that supports students throughout their learning journey. In this rewarding role, you will create inspiring learning experiences, develop innovative teaching resources, and build strong industry connections to ensure students graduate job‑ready and equipped for success. As a Teacher – Interior Decoration and Design, you will
- Inspire and support students through engaging, inclusive and industry‑focused teaching practices.
- Develop creative learning resources and deliver classes across a variety of subjects, courses and learning environments within Interior Decoration and Design.
- Build strong connections with industry and the community to ensure training reflects current design trends and workplace practices.
- Guide students throughout their learning journey by providing advice, feedback and tailored support to help them succeed.
- Contribute to a collaborative teaching team committed to quality education, continuous improvement and student success. To be successful, you’ll have
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
- An approved degree, diploma or certificate in Interior Decoration and Design, or an approved equivalent qualification, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Strong teaching and assessment skills with the ability to deliver engaging, learner‑focused education and training.
- The ability to create inclusive, supportive and safe learning environments that encourage student success and participation.
- Current industry knowledge and an understanding of VET practices, compliance and continuous improvement principles.
- Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and stakeholders.
- Digital literacy, adaptability and a commitment to ongoing professional development and industry currency.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
