Based out of our stylish Mount Waverley office, this new and exciting chance will help shape the future of our homes. As a key technical leader, you’ll provide expert guidance on building methodology, regulatory compliance and technical documentation.
Your recommendations will drive best practice, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, all while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company construction standards. Reporting to the National Product Commercialisation Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Review and implement all National Regulation and Standard changes
- Identify and monitor areas of non-compliance including recommendations for contingency planning
- Develop and implement change management plans for each regulatory update
- Support and contribute to delivering new product Construction Details to the business in full and aligned with product release schedule.
- Undertake regular review of applicable actions listed in the strategic plan to ensure each is completed as described in the plan
- Review of build methods and detailing and provide support to review details prior to issue to the business
- Advise of up-coming changes required to ensure continued compliance of our products and build methods
- Monitor and report on the status of the implementation of business support tools, to ensure regulatory change compliance
- Contribute ideas that improve the quality, cost effectiveness and ease of construction.
- Liaise with Construction & Operational teams nationally
- Research product & innovation opportunities to ensure all new initiatives meet Metricon building practices
- Ensure details match construction methods used, via site visits & or liaising with Construction team, recommending changes to details
- Review all product improvements and site instructions for compliance prior to adoption
- Support the business on quality control and training of changes to compliance requirements; and
- Conduct stakeholder meetings when required and contribute to team meetings to ensure design impact of changes to compliance requirements is understood Metricon will offer you:
