Located in Mount Gambier (5290) the second most populated city in South Australia and only 40 minutes from the Victorian border, we are a well-established, accredited Practice within a DPA (and MM3) with a core and specialty focus on skin cancer services, skin treatment, procedures and dermatology. With an established patient book and over 20 years of operation our patient numbers have grown over the years, and we are now looking for an energetic 100% skin & procedures focus Practitioner to join our friendly team on either a full or part time basis (we are also happy to look at versatile work arrangements including FIFO). Supporting you in Practice is a hardworking nursing and reception team who will assist with patient management, procedures and wound care. Working across all areas of skin cancer services, procedures and treatments our Practitioner's see a range of diverse skin presentations. Essential is the requirement that you ;
- hold specialist registration with AHPRA and/or hold Fellowship with RACGP, ACRRM or similar
- have full Medicare claiming privileges
- enjoy working within a collegiate workplace
- Interest Background in skin cancer diagnosis, procedures & treatment
- Diploma in Skin Cancer/Interest in Skin
- Experience using Dermatoscopes & Episcopes
- Hold Australian work rights. Typical Presentations include;
- Spot Checks
- Mole Mapping
- Full Body Checks
- Dermoscopy
- General dermatology, including dermatitis, acne, and rosacea/telangiectasia
- Diagnosis and treatment of detection of melanoma and other skin cancers Benefits:
