About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Development & Case Manager to join the Earlier Access to Supports and Engagements (EASE) program. This role delivers early-intervention support to victim-survivors of domestic and family violence (DFV) through a blended approach of trauma-informed case management and community development. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across the Limestone Coast to strengthen community responses, improve access to culturally safe supports, and reduce reliance on crisis services. Role Flexibility This role offers flexibility, with the balance between case management and community development shifting in line with program needs. Key Responsibilities Case Management
- Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based case management to victim-survivors
- Conduct risk assessments, safety planning and case planning
- Monitor and document client progress in line with organisational requirements
- Support clients to navigate services and build sustainable safety strategies
- Work collaboratively within the EASE team to deliver integrated support Community Development & Engagement
- Plan, deliver and evaluate community engagement activities and group programs
- Build strong relationships with community leaders, First Nations and CALD communities
- Strengthen community capacity to identify and respond to DFV
- Promote culturally safe, co-designed approaches informed by lived experience
- Maintain and grow partnerships across the Limestone Coast region About you To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Development, Community Services or related field, or extensive experience relevant to the position.
- Experience supporting victim-survivors of DFV and/or working in community-based roles. Desirable
- Experience working with First Nations and CALD communities.
- Knowledge of community co-design and community capacity-building approaches.
- Experience in DFV case management and/or DFV-related community education. See attached Position Description for full details. Prior to receiving a formal offer of employment with Centacare, the following documents must be provided for this role:
