What does the job look like? Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking a highly motivated HC driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full-time ongoing position based in Mount Gambier, SA starting at 5am Monday to Friday. You will be required to safely deliver various timber products from Mount Gambier, to our regional / interstate customers. Key areas:
- Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
- Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
- Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
- Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation
- Customer Service Are you the one?
- Current HC Licence is essential (MC licence highly desirable)
- Ability to manage fatigue
- Familiarity with fundamental manual handling protocols
