Overview Step into a rewarding role as a Rural Generalist Occupational Therapist with the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. This temporary full‑time position offers the opportunity to deliver diverse, person‑centred OT services across hospital, community, aged care, paediatrics and disability services. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced occupational therapist, we encourage you to apply. Based in the beautiful Limestone Coast region, the role offers flexibility to work from Mount Gambier or surrounding towns – including Bordertown, Kingston, Lucindale, Millicent, Naracoorte and Penola – by negotiation. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, including allied health professionals, nurses and medical staff. Use modern technology and telehealth infrastructure to deliver high‑quality care across the region. Consolidate your skills and develop leadership, networking and professional capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive OT services across hospital, community and aged care settings.
- Plan, implement and evaluate client‑centred programmes to improve functional capacity and quality of life.
- Provide guidance and support to students, allied health assistants and less experienced clinicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other service providers to ensure integrated, holistic care. Who We’re Looking For
- Occupational Therapist (AHP1/AHP2) with relevant registration and experience.
- Skilled in delivering diverse OT services in hospital, community and paediatric settings.
- Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgment and contribute to team development.
