We have the pleasure to recruit for our clients'contracts in their Open Space/Parks and Gardens division based in Mornington. This current vacancy is working in their Mowing Crew. This position requires you to work as part of a highly experienced Horticultural team, maintaining some of the Peninsulas most highly regarded public green spaces. What an incredible opportunity! Core responsibilities
- High profile parks, reserves, foreshores & roadsides
- Herbicide application
- Front deck/zero turn mowers
- Brushcutting & detailing Skills and experience
- Commercial Parks & Gardens & Horticulture experience-highly desirable
- Relevant Horticulture/Turf industry certificates/qualifications -highly desirable
- Current drivers licence-Essential
- Knowledge of herbicide application techniques-highly desirable
- A desire to work in the outdoors
- Fit, healthy and work well within a team
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Strong commitment to and working knowledge of safe work practice
- Any certificates in Horticulture/Arboriculture desirable but not essential What’s on offer
- $33.46
- $37.50 per hour -Day shift
- 6:30-2:30 Monday to Friday
