About the role

Gos Constructions is seeking a skilled Machinery Operator/Truck Driver to join our team in Cloncurry, QLD. This full-time role will see you operating a range of heavy machinery and driving trucks to support our construction operations. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing Operate a variety of heavy machinery such as excavators and loaders. Drive trucks of various sizes to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all machinery and vehicles Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Collaborate with the construction team to support project timelines and objectives Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents

What we're looking for Demonstrated experience as a machinery operator and truck driver, preferably in the construction industry Valid driver's licence, with a HC or MC licence highly desirable Formal qualifications in operating heavy machinery, such as a Backhoe/Loader, Excavator, or Forklift licence Solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the construction crew A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
