About the role As an Assistant Store Manager, your key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have:
- Some leadership or supervisory experience
- retail or any other industry
- A strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and develop
- Someone who is dependable, proactive, and takes pride in doing a job well
- A natural ability to motivate and inspire your team
- An interest in camping, boating or fishing (product knowledge is a bonus, not essential)
- A people‑focused mindset with the confidence to step up and support the team
- Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
