Pest Control Technician Trainee - Field Role with Van (Winton)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis, based out of our Goondiwindi depot, servicing the greater Darling Downs area. Pest Control Technician – You will work with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises pest‑free; no two days are the same. Duties
- Inspect client premises thoroughly for any sign of pests
- Carry out measures as required to eliminate the pests
- Identify sales leads in the region where possible
- Build rapport with and communicate with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
- Develop and maintain long‑term customer relationships At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is: Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Australian open/full driver's licence
- Eligible to work full‑time in Australia
- Availability for possible overnight stays in remote areas
- Interest in Pest Control or related industry experience
- Excellent customer service skills to manage, maintain, and build upon client relationships
- Communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing
- Physically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distances
- High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets
- An ability to consistently work within both the client’s and Rentokil’s safety parameters
