**Salary**: $66,000-$70,000 + Super + Commission **Hours**: Full-time (37.5 hours) — Saturday required **Location**: Mornington

**About the Role**

Choices Flooring by Smiths is seeking an experienced retail salesperson who thrives on helping customers turn their renovation plans into reality.

You'll be the first point of contact in our Mornington showroom. Guide customers through flooring and window furnishing options, preparing accurate quotations, and coordinating in-home measure appointments. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys consultative selling, takes pride in customer experience, and can confidently drive a sale from start to finish.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Greeting customers and delivering an outstanding showroom experience
- Understanding each customer's needs and helping them choose the right flooring or window solution
- Coordinating in-home measure & quotes
- Preparing accurate plans, quotes, and processing sales
- Following up leads and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Working closely with our installation and warehouse teams to ensure smooth job flow

**What We're Looking For**
- **Proven retail sales experience is essential**

(e.g., furniture, tiles, bathrooms, carpets, renovations, appliances, automotive or similar consultative selling environments)
- **Minimum 2+ years of retail sales experience required**:

- **A proactive, self-motivated salesperson who takes initiative**, follows up leads, and keeps the sales process moving while working confidently and independently
- **Ability to guide customers from enquiry → decision → sale** with professionalism
- **Solid communication skills** and the ability to quickly build rapport
- **High level of accuracy** with quoting, paperwork and follow-up
- **Comfortable working Saturdays** (non-negotiable)
- **Reliable, driven, and committed to delivering a great customer experience**:

- **Industry experience preferred**, but not essential if you have strong sales ability and confidence to learn product knowledge
- **Australian work rights are required for this position**
