We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher – Health and Physical Education with appropriate tertiary qualifications and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This full‑time, permanent position will commence in Term 3 – 13th July 2026 . Responsibilities
- Design engaging lessons and activities that promote health and physical education across diverse learning styles.
- Set clear expectations and establish rigorous, student‑centred learning environments.
- Use a range of assessment tools to monitor progress, celebrate growth, and provide meaningful feedback.
- Reflect on practice continuously to drive improvement and professional development.
- Prioritise student safety and wellbeing while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Qualifications & Experience
- Valid tertiary qualification in Physical Education, Sport, or related field.
- Current registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Experience teaching secondary health and physical education, and familiarity with contemporary teaching practices.
