About The Role Working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you'll use critical thinking and clinical judgement to support positive patient outcomes while continuing to grow from graduate to experienced practitioner. This role offers professional autonomy, strong team support, and the chance to contribute to culturally protected care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence‑based nursing care across acute inpatient and emergency presentations using effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Practice both independently and collaboratively, including delegation and coordination of care for Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students.
- Provide culturally safe and responsive care, building respectful relationships with patients, families and community members. For 2 years: AUD$10,815, and from the 3rd year onward: AUD$7,210 (pro rata for part‑time employees). Requirements
- Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Mandatory pre‑employment screening, including criminal history checks.
- VPD risk role: may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to HepatitisA/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis. Probation may apply.
