Boilermaker- Eva Copper (Mount Isa)

Overview Working in a strategic Alliance with Thiess and Harmony, you will form part of a collaborative team, driven by shared objectives and values to deliver operational excellence at the Eva Copper Mine Project. The Alliance will set new benchmarks for safe, sustainable and efficient copper development, supported by commitments to local employment and procurement, current‑to‑industry and Indigenous workforce development and meaningful engagement in the local community. The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland, approximately 75 km north‑west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north‑east of Mount Isa. The Project is an iron‑oxide copper‑gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland. Chance Our Maintenance department at Eva Copper is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Boilermaker. The next Boilermaker will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work collaboratively towards delivering high‑quality solutions and results. As a key member of the Eva Copper Alliance team, you will be responsible for supporting safe, efficient production across our fleet while working with a high‑performing maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation.
- Complete accurate Job Planning Sheets.
- Be responsible for workshop tooling.
- Set and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Work within a team environment to meet deadlines.
- Perform bucket, tray & chassis inspections and repairs. Qualifications
- A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a world‑class team to deliver excellence for our clients.
- Proficient in performing all welding, gouging, cutting or other duties.
- Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or Equivalent.
- Post‑trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry; mobile plant equipment & heavy welding experience (essential).
- Current Drivers Licence (HR drivers licence highly regarded).
- High Risk Work Licence for EWP & Working at Heights (Desirable).
