Boilermaker (Mount Isa)

Boilermaker QLD Metallurgical Operations, Maintenance, Lead Smelter Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia Ref. No. The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide effective maintenance in a safe, effective and cost‑effective manner to ensure that production and statutory requirements are met. Responsibilities
- Routine maintenance inspections, shutdown, and fixed plant work
- Work on a range of mining equipment including structural steel, storage bins, chutes, guarding and pipe work
- Interpret scale drawings or specifications to determine job requirements and materials Qualifications & Attributes
- Trade experience in mining, heavy industry or quarrying with an Engineering Fabrication Trade (Heavy Fabrication-Boilermaking)
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high safety standards with risk/control awareness
- High level of work quality and exceptional communication skills
