THE PROSPECT Central Roofing Supplies Operations Team are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Factory Hand to join the team. This position will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling products for our trade and retail customer base. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating metal folding, roll form and bending machines and general manufacturing equipment
- Liaise with manufacturing and dispatch teams
- Liaise with customers regarding orders and project‑related work
- General forklift duties
- Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Demonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focused
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a protected working workplace ABOUT YOU
- Forklift ticket and MR truck license or willingness to obtain is preferable but not essential
- Relevant work experience although happy to train in how to operate machinery
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- Basic computer skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
