Safety – Injury Management Advisor (Mount Isa)

- Be part of a company that values care, safety, and continuous improvement What Youll Be Doing Youll be the on-site expert for injury management, return-to-work coordination, medical compliance, and safety leadership helping ensure our people get the right care and our project stays on track.
- Provide expert advice to leaders on injury management, medical requirements, and compliance
- Coordinate and support all work-related and non-work-related injury responses
- Enter incidents and hazards into SAI360 and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Monitor employment medicals, oversee reviews, and support pre-employment and ongoing health surveillance processes
- Facilitate injury management and RTW plans, including organising, attending, and (where required) transporting employees to medical appointments
- Liaise with medical providers, internal health specialists, and WorkCover stakeholders
- Work with supervisors to develop suitable duties plans for injured workers
- Deliver training to employees and leaders on injury prevention, RTW processes, and health requirements
- Identify opportunities to continually improve injury management and RTW outcomes
- Support investigations, SHET reporting, management plans, and client meetings What Youll Bring
- Robust background in workers compensation, injury management, occupational health, HSE, or a similar field
- Experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- Confidence communicating with employees, leaders, medical providers, and clients
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
