Field Service Mechanic | Mudgee

WesTrac Mudgee is seeking qualified Mechanics to join their Field Service team.

This position will see you reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, supporting our customers in the Western region of NSW, including working across top-tier mining sites. In this role, you’ll ensure that all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections meet Caterpillar standards, all while prioritising a safety-first approach in everything you do.

Roster and Remuneration

7/7 roster rotating day and night shifts
Shift Times: Day Shift 06:00am-18:30pm, Night Shift 18:00pm-06:30am
Potential annual earning between $130k - $160k + Super

Skills & Experience

Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience
Australian Recognised Certificate of Proficiency (COP) & Transcripts
Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
Exposure to CAT systems like SIS or ET is highly desirable
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
Current Drivers Licence
