Building Designer (Mudgee)

Barnson Pty Ltd is a well established professional multidisciplinary consulting firm and we are currently seeking a full time Building Designer for our Mudgee office. Our company provides a friendly team environment, supportive management, and offers excellent diversity.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide construction detailing solutions that clearly maintain design intent and consider build-ability
- Assist the team in maintaining quality delivery outcomes
- Maintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the project
- Have an excellent knowledge of the BCA and Australian Standards
- Have excellent attention to detail skills
- Have a passion for the built environment

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Possess a Degree in Building Design or equivalent office and industry experience
- Five or more years of local professional related experience
- Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows XP and CAD Products, etc)
- Knowledge in the preparation of DA & CC documentation
- An ability to follow & manage standard operating procedures
- Unwavering approach to following safety guidelines & programs
- Current Australian Driver Licence

Annual salary for this position will be assessed based on the skills and knowledge of the successful applicant.
