Building Designer Mudgee

Barnson Pty Ltd is a well established skilled multidisciplinary consulting firm and we are currently seeking a full time Building Designer for our Mudgee office. Our company provides a friendly team environment, supportive management, and offers excellent diversity.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide construction detailing solutions that clearly maintain design intent and consider build-ability

Assist the team in maintaining quality delivery outcomes

Maintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the project

Have an excellent knowledge of the BCA and Australian Standards

Have excellent attention to detail skills

Have a passion for the built environment

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Possess a Degree in Building Design or equivalent office and industry experience

Five or more years of local professional related experience

Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and Revit

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows XP and CAD Products, etc)

Knowledge in the preparation of DA & CC documentation

An ability to follow & manage standard operating procedures

Unwavering approach to following safety guidelines & programs

Current Australian Driver Licence

Annual salary for this position will be assessed based on the skills and knowledge of the successful applicant.
