Paint and Sip Artist Instructor Gold Coast (Mudgeeraba)

We run Paint and Sip, or Clay and Sip, at two locations on Gold Coast. You must be able to get to either Surfers Paradise, and Thai Mudgeeraba.

Seeing customers improve their skills and find their own creative voice is incredibly satisfying for any teacher. But before beginning your art teacher career, the first step is to practice the paintings you would be teaching.

The Art of Teaching Art A typical day in the life of an art teacher may begin with a general art paint and sip session, and the next 2 hours may involve working with a group of eager customers who are keen on tips to produce there masterpiece.

You would then learn from the master artist Wesley Taylor his techniques and how to produce amazing artworks.

During this process you would be expected to learn and be able to demonstrate the ability to do similar with a class session of at least 30 people. Learn how to interact with people and how to build confidence with there work.

This involves doing the paintings which you get to keep, learning how to teach and demand an audience of a large group.

Opportunities exist for positions within the Wesley Taylor Art Studios as assistants and teachers who demonstrate the dedication that is required to full fill this Career.

This is a part time job which you would be doing along side your other work or study commitments. Require people who take the position seriously and priorities there work commitments as the sessions run every Friday night, and functions on Saturdays. I looking for a strong long term commitment. Must be able to travel to different locations, including the wineries in the hinterland.Own car preferred to able to get to restaurant locations for events.

Part time hours: 4 -8 hours per week

Shifts mainly Friday afternoon, Friday night, Saturday Afternoon and night. Week night shifts as required.

Position for assistant and instructors

We are looking for Freelance artists, if not registered, that are willing to register ABN as registered Artists are welcome to work contract and would be paid the sum total of $40 per hour Teacher rate, and assistant without teaching $33.30 per hour. This is just inclusive of the super being paid out upfront as part of hourly rate.

Schedule of current events, then functions would also be required as per requested dates and times. We start 1 hour before for setup and preparation, and packup generally takes 30-60 minutes depending on the size group

We offer training to become a teacher, however essentially after teachers, not assistants

You would start off with assisting, and we would have a non paid trial to see if you think the job is what your expecting, and if we think you have the personal communication skill required.
