- In depth understanding of wireless protocols like LoRaWAN
- Understanding of NB-IoT and CAT-M1 would be advantageous
- Experience in IoT protocols such as MQTT & CoAP
- Proficiency in C++ and follow good coding practices
- Prior experience with Microchip SAMD series microcontrollers will be desirable
- Understanding of industry standard protocols such as Modbus, BACNet, CANBus
- Understanding of I2C, SPI, Serial, 1-wire protocols within embedded systems
- Ability to design firmware acheiving low power for battery operated systems
- Prior experience on industrial controls, specifically building automation and control will be highly regarded
- Ability to generate quality documentation and follow standard software version tools such as Git
