Due to a peak production period, we’re urgently seeking enthusiastic and capable team members to join us on a fixed-term contract. We have both **part-time and full-time roles** available, with **3- or 6-month contracts** and the possibility of extension.
- Completion of **at least 1 year of patisserie course units** (or equivalent)
- Or relevant hands-on experience in a similar role
- A quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment

About the Role: You'll play a key role in our handmade dog treat production process. Tasks include: **Production & Preparation**:

- Product baking
- preparing/cutting biscuits
- Product preparing
- preparing icing, fondant, fillings and decorations
- Product decorating
- flooding with icing on biscuits to quality standard
- Required to clean mobile equipment and workstations
- Required to operate, clean and setup baking / kitchen / cooking and biscuit and cake decorating equipment (including but not limited to dough mixer, pastry sheeter, oven, etc).
- Required to pack finished products for orders
- Meeting Safety, Production Targets and Quality Regulations and Standards

**Key Duties**:

- Prepare biscuits by weighing raw materials to appropriate ratio and consistency of dough
- For baking of dog biscuits, you will be using a pastry sheeter, cutting biscuits using cutters and operating the oven to ensure they are baked as required
- Preparing dog friendly icing to appropriate consistencies (dependent on product type)
- Emptying the baking trays once cooled to icing trays
- Following completion of product decoration, packaging the products for orders
- Cleaning of equipment, tools and other utensils used and setup of equipment for the next day

Skills Required:

- Ability to follow instructions and learn multiple processes
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills

Work Hours:

- **Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM**:

- No weekend work
- Minimum **20 hours/week availability** required
- **Ideally 38 hours**:

- Must have legal working rights in Australia
