About the Role

As a Yard Tug Driver, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of daily yard movements and on-site coordination. Working within a professional transport environment, you’ll be responsible for moving trailers within the yard safely and efficiently, ensuring timely loading and unloading operations.

This is a full time ongoing position with consistent hours, optional overtime, and excellent above-award pay rates.

Key Responsibilities

Safely manoeuvre and position trailers in the yard and dock areas

Operate a tug or terminal tractor to move freight efficiently

Conduct pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance

Liaise with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate trailer movements

Follow all site safety and compliance protocols

What You’ll Need

Valid MC Licence (mandatory)

Proven experience in yard tug, shunter, or heavy vehicle driving

Commitment to safety and teamwork

Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours with flexibility for overtime
