We are looking for a passionate individual to join our dynamic hospital site at Mulgrave on a full-time basis.
You'll serve as a vital link between our patients and our medical staff, providing exceptional care and support throughout their visit. Your responsibilities will include reception duties, administrative tasks, and ensuring each patient feels valued and well-cared for.
What you’ll do:
Check patient GP referrals with Medicare ensuring data accuracy
Timely processing of correspondence to referrers and patients
Respond to incoming phone calls promptly and provide a professional service in line with expectations
Working with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective management of medical appointments and other related clinical information via the Health Track system
Booking and confirming patients for tests and consultations.
Who you are:
Administration or customer service experience, preferably in health or aged care
An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks
An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs
An ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team
The ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal / external demands.
