As our new Senior Sales Engineer, you will be driving project sales across South Australia and Melbourne, developing strategic relationships with engineering contractors, consulting firms, and channel partners to deliver sustainable water technology solutions for commercial building projects. What you will be doing As a key part of the Commercial Building Services team, you'll create impact by Building a powerful network of industry stakeholders and channel partners to grow Grundfos's presence in the commercial building services market across your region. Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies and budgets aligned with company targets, leveraging value-based selling to differentiate Grundfos solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, building project owners.Engage stakeholders at all levels — from technical engineering teams to senior decision-makers — to influence project specifications in favour of Grundfos products
- Monitor account receivables monthly, following up on outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow and minimise bad debt risk
- Ensure compliance with corporate sales policies, procedures, and systems while executing against qualitative and quantitative targets What makes you a great fit We would also imagine that you have:
- 3-5 years of project sales experience in commercial building services, HVAC, or related industries (pumps, valves, air handling units, fan coil units, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability in value-based selling and managing complex, multi-stakeholder project sales cycles
- Existing network of contacts among engineering contractors, consulting firms, or building services specifiers in the Australian market It is a plus if you also:
- Familiarity with pump products or water technology solutions for commercial buildings
- Experience working with and through channel partners and dealer networks
