The Role: Carpenter This isn't a role for someone who wants to be carried. We're looking for a qualified carpenter who can confidently take ownership of their work, think ahead, and help keep projects moving. You'll be involved in a wide variety of work including demolition, framing, lock-up, fixing, decking, retaining walls and all aspects of residential construction. You'll be expected to read plans confidently, work alongside subcontractors, communicate clearly with the team, and maintain the high standards our clients expect. Most importantly, you'll take pride in producing quality work the first time. What We're Looking For You're a qualified carpenter with your own tools and reliable transport. You've spent time working on renovations, extensions and custom homes and understand the challenges that come with each stage of a build. You don't wait around for instructions. When something needs attention, you identify the issue, come with a solution and get moving. You've developed strong carpentry skills across a broad range of residential construction work and can adapt to whatever the project requires. If you've had experience leading apprentices, labourers or small crews, that's a bonus. What won't work here is someone who's constantly late, unreliable, or needs to be chased every day to perform.
