You will lead the Assistant Store Manager, Department Managers, and the broader retail team to deliver:

- Meaningful local community engagement This is a highly hands-on Store Manager position where you will lead from the front, oversee day-to-day store operations, maintain high merchandising and presentation standards, and drive strong commercial results through effective leadership, rostering, stock management, and customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of store operations, team performance, and overall store profitability
- Lead, coach, and develop Department Managers and broader store teams
- Drive sales growth, gross profit, shrink control, and wage performance
- Manage labour productivity through effective rostering and task allocation
- Oversee stock ordering, inventory control, and store merchandising standards
- Execute promotional activity, catalogue launches, and seasonal events
- Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, and compliance
- Ensure food safety, WHS, and company policies are consistently upheld
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and store results
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience as a Supermarket Store Manager, Supermarket Department Manager or FMCG Retail Manager
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Excellent commercial acumen across KPIs, wages, stock control, and shrink
- Proven ability to manage large teams in fast-paced retail environments
- Customer-focused and community-minded approach
- Results-driven mindset with a hands-on leadership style Essential Requirements
