Whs Manager - Vertical Farming Sa (Monarto)

**About the opportunity**

Based at Monarto, just 45 minutes up the South Eastern Freeway, you will work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop, drive & monitor WHS strategies, policies & plans to optimise the protected performance of our people. You will target best practice levels of safety and legislative compliance in an environment of continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Implementing and driving the Vertical Farming WHS Strategic Plan and Key Safety Performance Indicators
- Partner and coach the local Managers in understanding and achieving their Key Safety Performance Indicators
- Lead a program of internal audits & provide technical guidance to drive resolution of risks identified.
- Work with leaders throughout the workers compensation process to the return to pre-injury duties.
- Analyse risk data and produce reports for management teams
- Implement Health and Wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide support and direction to the WHS Coordinator.

**About you**

You are a passionate and experienced WHS Manager that is suitably qualified and will bring the following to the role:

- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards relevant to the role.
- Strong leadership skills including the demonstration of positive influencing skills and change management experience.
- Demonstrate integrity and exceptional commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity
- An understanding and respect for differing cultural and social needs
