We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Offender Development (ASO7) to join our prison leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality education, training, and rehabilitation programs that make a real difference in the lives of offenders and the community.

**About the role**: As Manager, Offender Development, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a broad range of offender services, including:

- Education, vocational training, and rehabilitation programs that address criminogenic needs and enhance employability.
- Case management, health and mental health liaison, recreation, chaplaincy, Aboriginal liaison, and volunteer programs.
- Community-oriented initiatives such as Work Ready Release Ready (WRRR) and partnerships with training organisations and employers.

You will lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of educators, social workers, liaison officers, and coordinators, while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, evidence-based offender development services.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven leadership experience in adult education, and vocational training.
- Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, foster innovation, and implement best-practice approaches in rehabilitation leadership, education and training programs.
- Experience developing programs for diverse populations, including Aboriginal peoples, individuals with low literacy, and those with disabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and resource management skills.
- Qualifications in Adult and Vocational Education, or related fields (essential).

**Special Conditions**
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and

other applicable industrial entitlements.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.
- A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
- A adaptable approach to working hours is required.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
- May be required to work out-of-hours and perform on-call duties to ensure the prison is able to meet operational and critical service needs. **Requirements** Essential: Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Education or Vocational Training. Desirable: N/A
