Exciting opportunity to join the Tweed Regional Museum team in a permanent full-time position.
The Collection and Program Support Officer will provide administrative and project support for the operations and programs of the museum and will contribute to the coordination of the museum collection, events and retail support.
**About the role**:
- liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- provide secretariat support to the Museum Advisory Committee
- provide admin and project support for programs and events such as exhibition openings and public programs
- assist in generating, scheduling and overseeing content for various platforms including Facebook and Instagram

- **We are seeking**:
- minimum Certificate IV qualification in a related field
- advanced computer skills (Microsoft, including working with images and spreadsheets)
- advanced administration skills including records management, meeting preparation and minute taking
- highly developed written and oral communication skills, analytical skills and the ability to use initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy
- systematic, accurate and flexible approach to project support
- current Working with Children Check

6. Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a small team.
7. Demonstrated systematic, accurate and flexible approach to record keeping and project support.
8. Current Vehicle Licence
- Car.
**Desirable**: 9. Post graduate qualification in the creative industries, history, business development or museum studies are highly regarded.
10. Knowledge and experience of Council financial and record keeping systems (Finance One, DataWorks).
11. Knowledge and experience of working with collection management systems.
