Role Overview As a Cook, you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. Duties Include
- Taking direction from the Chef
- Ensure delicious, well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned, prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
- Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control
- Purchase and order stock and equipment
- Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation About You To be successful, you'll need:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
- Demonstrated minimum 1 years experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care or a hospital preferable
- Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
- Experience with texture modified food advantageous
