Our Flood Restoration Team are managing a program of work that is the largest ever undertaken by Tweed Shire Council and one of the most complex which will see the reconstruction of the various roads back to pre-disaster conditions following a declared natural disaster event in February 2022.
This new position provides financial technical support to the team in the delivery of flood restoration and other natural disaster programs. You will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure that the technical records and reporting meet the requirements of the external funding partners.

- **We are seeking**:
- A certificate qualification in Business or extensive accounting/cost controller experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Facilitate engagement with key stakeholders including, funding bodies, contractors, Council partners and government agencies as required.
- Project lead and support to implement upgrades and new functionality in Council's financial systems.
- Provide training and be the key point of contact for the operation of the TechnologyOne system in the project.
- Develop an understanding of business and operational unit accounting information requirements of Council.
