Arborist (Murwillumbah)

Deliver high‑quality tree management services, including assessments, removals and pruning, to support a protected and well‑managed shire. Operate specialised plant and equipment, including EWP trucks, chippers and stump grinders, while supporting traffic control and daily unit operations. About the role
- Deliver expert arboriculture services including tree assessment, pruning and removals in line with Australian Standards
- Perform advanced climbing, rigging and EWP operations
- Operate and collaborate within a well‑equipped team to deliver safe, efficient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reports using Council’s record management systems
- Communicate professionally with Council staff, emergency services and the community while prioritising safety and environmental care What's on offer
- Base salary ranging from $62,124 to $71,178 per annum, plus 12% super
- 76 hour, 9 day fortnight schedule

- Qualified arborist (Certificate III or working towards) with hands‑on industry experience
- Skilled in tree climbing, rigging and performing works to AS4373 standards
- Licensed or willing to obtain EWP, crane/plant electrical safety and White Card tickets
- Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
