Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic - Strathmerton

Booth Transport is a National Transport Company with a large fleet of late model Kenworth's and tankers, we require an experienced Workshop mechanic for our Strathmerton site in Northern Victora. In your new position you will be reporting to the Workshop Manager and will be responsible for the professional repairs and servicing of our modern fleet of Kenworth prime movers and tankers, you will be part of a team of professionals that ensure we meet maintenance standards in this fast-paced role that will provide plenty of variety in your day. - Repair, replace, maintain and testing ofa high volume of company vehicles and related mechanical and electrical components.
- Completing work in a safe and efficient manner in line with company standards.
- Servicing of vehicles in line with company servicing schedule.
- Accurate completion of all paperwork and systems associated with fleet maintenance and repair.
- Support breakdown. Candidate Requirements
- Experience in transport.
- Experience with Kenworth, Cummins & trailers.
- Proven competence as a Workshop Mechanic.
- HR Licence (not required, but preferred).
- Sound computer skills.
- Lead, demonstrate and educate employees to embrace a safe & productive work environment.
- Good problem solving and planning skills.
