Project Green Groupis seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Gardener/horticulturalist to assist with the maintenance and ongoing development of a rural property with a large, established ornamental garden.

Reporting to the onsite Property Manager your duties will include:

Undertaking general grounds and garden maintenance duties to ensure a visually pleasing and inviting space is maintained at all times

Mowing and edging, weeding and chemical application

Planting, pruning, fertilisation and mulching

Seasonal planting and harvesting of both flowers and vegetables

Production nursery activities

Executing regular maintenance programs

The installation, repair and maintenance of automatic irrigation systems

Other gardening and turf-related tasks associated with ground maintenance

The preparation of the garden and some aspects of the home for Airbnb Guests Check-in

Efficiently managing resources, including plant and small tools

Ensuring the secure operation and transportation of vehicles, plant and other equipment at all times

Upholding quality, safety and environmental standards in all activities

What we need from you:

A hands-on, hard-working and adaptable approach, with the ability to juggle numerous tasks and competing priorities while enthusiastically engaging with others

Horticultural industry experience

A current and unrestricted driver's licence

A chainsaw operation ticket

Certificate in Horticulture – desirable

ChemCERT- desirable

First Aid Certificate
