Reserve Support Services are an Australian company providing Meat Inspection services to the Australian meat industry. Our clients are an export meat processing establishments in Lobethal and we are looking for qualified Meat Safety Inspectors (AAO) to start now!

On offer are several full time positions

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be performing Post-Mortem inspection services in an operational setting. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Inspection of animal carcass and parts for the purpose of ensuring product is fit for human consumption to the documented standards.

Identifying and making relevant disposition of non-conforming carcass materials.

Provide support for other team members and meat export standards.

Completing any required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

Skills and Experience Required

To be considered, you must have the following skilled experience and qualifications:

Diploma level qualification plus at least 2 years’ experience in an AAO or Meat Safety Inspectors role within a red meat processing setting (alternatively 3 years’ relevant experience in lieu of a Diploma qualification)

Certificate IV in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) AMP40516 OR

Certificate III in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) AMP30316, and must achieve Certificate IV in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) AMP40516 within 12 months of commencing employment or equivalent

Ovine/Caprine experience essential

Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a national police check
