Factory Worker Machine Operator - Night Shift (Yandina)

Nutworks is a 100% Australian Owned local Macadamia Processer located in Yandina on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and have been in operation for over 25 years. We are currently seeking to fill multiple positions in our nut processing factory. Please note successful applicant/s will be required to complete a full medical check including drug and alcohol testing. Factory Worker Machine Operator – Night Shift: Casual worker wanted for Night Shift Cracking Line Operator in a food production factory located in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. Hours of work will be 9:00pm to 5:00am on a rotating roster. We are looking for a dynamic, mechanically minded all-rounder with an LF forklift licence. Must be prepared for hands on hard work! Responsibilities for the role will include:
- Operation of cracking plant machinery
- Good Mechanical Aptitude (able to perform minor mechanical repairs to equipment)
- Regulate machine flow, speed
- Stop or reset machine when malfunction occurs, clear jams
- Cleaning spills
- Process waste
- Sort and collate product The most suitable candidate would:
- Possess broad mechanical / manufacturing knowledge on manufacturing and production processes
- Have experience in a Production Team Work Setting
- Be an experienced Forklift Operator with a current licence
- Be task/process focused – you are able to complete repetitive work to a high standard
- Be willing to be trained and to follow written & verbal instruction as required
- Be able to follow instruction and processes
- Be able to work unsupervised at times
- Be physically fit
