About the Role

We are seeking a confident and reliable **Safety Officer / Crowd Controller** to join the team at Commercial Hotel Nambour. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who brings a strong presence, sound judgement, and the ability to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and patrons.

You will work directly with venue managers to ensure smooth operations across busy service periods, events, and late-night trade.

This is more than just a security role — we are looking for someone who is proactive, team-oriented, and willing to assist across general hospitality duties when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff
- Monitor venue entry and manage crowd control
- De-escalate situations calmly and professionally
- Work closely with venue managers during service and peak trade
- Support bar operations through bar backing and glass collection
- Assist with general floor duties and all-round hospitality tasks
- Ensure compliance with venue policies

About You
- Previous experience in security or crowd control (preferred)
- **Presence**:

- Strong communication skills and confident presence
- Calm under pressure with the ability to read situations early
- Team player mentality — willing to step in wherever needed
- Professional presentation and reliable work ethic
