Rail Protection Officer - Start Your Safety Career (Nambour)

Track Protection Services is currently seeking motivated and reliable people to join our team as Protection Officers / Safeworking Personnel across Queensland. No previous rail experience is required. TPS is capable and willing to support current-to-industry applicants who have the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. Successful applicants will be provided with guidance, training pathways, mentoring, and support from experienced supervisors as they build their career in the rail industry. The role involves supporting rail corridor works by helping ensure workgroups are protected, site requirements are followed, and rail safety procedures are maintained. As experience and competency develops, employees will assist with implementing protection arrangements, communicating with workgroups and site supervisors, attending pre-starts, maintaining records, and contributing to a strong safety culture on site. Key responsibilities may include:
- Supporting safe work activities within the rail corridor
- Working under the direction of experienced Protection Officers and supervisors
- Attending pre-start meetings and following site instructions
- Communicating clearly with workgroups and project teams
- Learning and applying rail safety rules and procedures
- Identifying and reporting hazards or changes in site conditions
- Maintaining a professional and safety-focused approach on site
- Working days, nights, weekends, and shutdowns where required What we are looking for:
