**About the role**
We are seeking a Primary Learning Leader (PLL) to support the engagement, learning progress and achievement of students in our school. This is a full-time continuing teaching appointment with 3 days release and 2 days classroom, and an initial three-year appointment as PLL. A subsequent three-year appointment will be offered following a successful performance review.

- Enhance teacher capacity and effectiveness
- Model high-quality teaching & learning and mentoring & coaching
- Ensure improved educational outcomes for students and continuous school improvement
- Lead and coordinate curriculum implementation
- Promote effective teaching and improved achievement in all curriculum areas
**About you** -**To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:
- strong knowledge and experience in implementing the Australian Curriculum
- capacity to develop interpersonal relationships, establish productive partnerships, and work as part of a team to lead change
- capacity to lead and manage activities which promote the engagement, learning progress and achievement of students
- success as a classroom teacher and commitment to professional development
**At BCE our teachers are required to**:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Have a commitment to Safeguarding
- The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct working with children checks and background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children and young people and/or adults-at-risk.
