Warehouse Order Picker (Palmwoods)

Fresh Meats is a leading supplier of meat products to restaurants in Queensland, based on the Sunshine Coast. We deliver to customers across the state and also operate a retail store in Maroochydore. We have warehousing in 3 locations: Maroochydore, Kunda Park and Brisbane.

This individual is solutions-oriented, hands-on and works well independently to see the job through to completion. You have initiative to plan ahead, are organised and systematic, work collaboratively with others to achieve the shared company goals and have the drive and determination to close out.

Morning shift is approx 4am to 12 pm; pm shift is 2 pm to 10 pm. This is a full time position.

**Role and Responsibilities**

The main activities include, but are not limited to:

- Pick orders accurately and efficiently for customers and production teams
- Communicate proactively with production, sales, drivers, packing team, etc. to ensure jobs get completed
- Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse and systems
- Complete all required training and proactively seek refresher training if needed
- Participate in performance feedback processes and identify opportunities for further development
- Contribute to workplace and process improvements
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including WHS, QA and HACCP

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- has the willingness and stamina for physical workload
- Is capable of moving heavy pallets with a pallet jack
- Feels comfortable with changes of demand and can pivot as needed
- Is proactive in finding solutions to always close out and finish the job

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45
- 50 per week

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 2 years (required)
