Home Caring Sunshine Coast is seeking compassionate and resilient Complex Support Workers to support participants with challenging behaviours, including high-intensity behaviours, verbal and physical aggression, while implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs). This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires confident support workers who can think on their feet, remain calm under pressure, and respond safely to complex behaviours. You will be supporting individuals with significant support needs, including mental health challenges, autism, intellectual disabilities, trauma backgrounds, and child safety considerations. While the role can be demanding, it is incredibly rewarding. You will play a critical role in helping participants build independence, develop life skills, and experience meaningful community engagement. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in managing complex situations. Key Responsibilities Support clients with mental health challenges, autism, intellectual disabilities, trauma, and complex behaviours, including high-intensity behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression. Follow Personal Support Behaviour Plans (PSBP) and company guidelines to ensure consistent and safe support. Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to help reduce behaviours of concern. Work effectively in fast-paced environments, responding calmly and confidently to challenging situations. Promote independence, skill development, and community participation. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes. Work Hours: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 2pm-6am sleepover ($140 sleepover allowance) & 10pm-6am active/awake.
