We're excited to welcome Patient Support Assistant to our Operational Support Services team at Nambour General Hospital. As a Patient Support Assistant improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will provide a safe environment by ensuring its cleanliness and provide staff with ready access to clean linen, material and equipment. You will have the opportunity to interact with patients by moving them safely throughout the hospital and assist the clinical team to position and support their patients during treatment and care. Key Responsibilities include:
- Transfer materials, linen and waste.
- Use mobile devices as required to assist in efficient and responsive patient care.
- Conduct terminal cleaning of the patient room and equipment upon discharge including rooms occupied by infectious patients.
- Actively participate in continuous quality improvement activities. Salary rates: $40.22
- $42.91 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (OO2) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
