We work with local and international clients to design, position and scale brands, products and digital experiences. Our services span strategy, branding, product and packaging design, digital platforms and go-to-market execution. We are a growing team delivering end-to-end creative solutions for businesses across diverse industries. The Role We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is responsible for planning, designing, developing and preparing information for publication and reproduction across print, digital and multimedia formats. The position requires strong conceptual thinking, technical proficiency and the ability to translate commercial and communication objectives into compelling visual solutions tailored to the intended audience. Key Responsibilities
- Determining the objectives and constraints of design briefs by consulting with clients and internal stakeholders to establish project scope, timelines and deliverables.
- Undertaking research and analysing functional, communication and aesthetic requirements to inform design direction and ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Formulating design concepts for the subject to be communicated, ensuring that visual solutions effectively convey the intended message to the target audience.
- Preparing sketches, diagrams, illustrations, layouts and storyboards to communicate design concepts and obtain approval from clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiating design solutions with clients, management, sales and production staff to ensure project deliverables meet commercial and creative objectives.
- Selecting, specifying and recommending functional and aesthetic materials and media for publication, delivery and display across print, digital and environmental formats.
- Detailing and documenting approved designs for production and implementation, including preparing production-ready artwork and specifications.
- Supervising and coordinating the production of visual communication materials, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the process.
- Designing and maintaining brand identity systems and comprehensive visual guidelines for clients across a range of industries.
- Delivering visual design for websites and digital products, including user interface layouts, landing pages and digital marketing assets.
- Producing design work across branding, editorial, packaging, print collateral and motion graphics formats.
- Managing multiple concurrent design projects, prioritising tasks and meeting agreed deadlines.
- Maintaining organised records, archiving design assets and ensuring version control of project files.
- Staying current with emerging design trends, tools and technologies relevant to visual communication and graphic design.
- Utilising contemporary design software and AI-assisted tools where appropriate to support creative ideation and production workflows. Skills and Qualifications Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional experience working as a Graphic Designer or in a highly relevant graphic design role.
- Demonstrated experience in concept development, visual communication and design storytelling across print and digital platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in branding, identity design, layout, typography and colour theory.
- High proficiency with industry-standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Experience preparing production-ready artwork and managing print and digital production processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate design solutions with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality visual standards. Desirable:
- Experience in motion graphics and video editing.
- Experience in UX/UI design for websites and digital products.
- Experience in packaging design and print production management.
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative creative team in a regional studio environment.
