What You’ll Be Doing You will play a key role supporting the day-to-day finance operations while gaining strong exposure to month-end reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Preparing journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with management reporting and financial statements
- Supporting payroll and statutory reporting requirements including BAS and payroll tax
- Maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls
- Providing analytical and administrative support to the finance team
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes About You To succeed in this role, you will be motivated, organised, and eager to continue developing your accounting skills within a supportive environment. You will ideally have
- 2–4 years’ experience within an accounting or finance role
- Exposure to AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
- Accounting Degree and ideally have started CPA/CA
- Strong Excel and accounting systems experience
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
