Full Time Chef (Camden)

Full Time Chef, Camden Sport Club Standard Catering PTY LTD (Yuvi's Char and Bar) is looking for an experienced full time Chef to work in our venue in Camden Sports Club Job type Full-time Location: Camden Sports Club Salary: $75000-$80000 per annum. As a chef you role will be:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes from our diverse menu, ensuring consistent standards and presentation
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new and cutting-edge menu items that showcase your culinary expertise
- Overseeing food preparation, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Supervising and mentoring a team of skilled kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Participating in inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance the overall dining experience for our customers Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a similar high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting and must have completed Commercial Cookery in Certificate IV
- Formal culinary training and qualifications, preferably in the field of Hospitality and Tourism
- Proven track record of creating and executing cutting-edge, flavourful dishes that delight customers
- Exceptional time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure workplace
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with front-of-house staff
